Our Dream

I always enjoyed baking simple things such as cakes, scones and cheese straws when I was growing up. I was so passionate I left home and went to Bournemouth College and enrolled as part of the Specialised Chefs Scholarship to gain more knowledge. I completed my training at The Royal Automobile Club, Epsom and graduated as a Specialised Chef in 2011. Although I loved cooking food, I missed serving customers, and interacting with them. It had always been a dream of mine that one day i’d open up my very own Tearoom but knew I would struggle to afford a premises. A lot of time went by and my ideas were put on the back burner and stayed nothing but a pipe dream with me thinking …one day.

Our Journey

Then I decided to take a different approach. If I could find a run down caravan and convert it into a mobile catering unit serving drinks and snacks, put my own stamp on it then, maybe, just maybe, my dream could actually work. My friends laughed at me and my family advised against it, as I would be ploughing in all my savings. I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. If I didn’t do it now I never would. My end result is completely the opposite to how I imagined it would be but none the less, I am chuffed to pieces with it and wouldn’t change a thing. I bake all the cakes myself and I believe I serve the very best brownie, the most enjoyable cup of coffee and all of my produce is locally sourced, free-range and served in environmentally-friendly packaging.

Our Future

Its been more challenging, expensive and much harder work than what I initially thought it would be but I’m so keen to make my new little business venture work, I will do whatever it takes. That being said, I have made my caravan to be a very flexible and versatile catering unit so if there is something you would specifically like at your event or feel that theres something missing please let me know and I am more than happy to see if I can accommodate. I can be a sweetie bar, coffee shop, or focus on milkshakes and smoothies, and keep you warm in winter months with mulled wine, mince pies, luxury belgiun hot chocolate and home-made soups. I am available for Private Hire and Events such as Weddings, Engagement Parties & Social Gatherings and can cater to make it personal, unique and special for both you and your guests. I do also have my personal license and therefore I can become your very own bar with a selection of wines, beers and ciders, and gin should this fit in with your occasion. I shall also be attending Markets, Christmas Fairs, Summer Fates, Car Boot Sales, Steam Rally’s, Festivals & Carnivals – so come and say hello, soak up the atmosphere and help spread the word.
